Okay, I'm having a fight with my sister. I told her she was acting like our mother and she told me I am acting like... well, something unpleasant.
No.
We are fighting, but I'm trying to not fight. My family is full of wackos and I told my sister that I was worried about her but that I found her behaviour not just alarming for her sake but frightening for me and given our family history I was hereforth renegning on my roll as the family dumpster.
Boy, that lit the firecracker. But, hey, life goes on. I've got bigger fish to fry:
- a week to my first real vacation since 1992
- 42 days to NaNoWriMo and I don't have an outline
- 296 days to find a new job
So, I have stuff to keep me occupied while I let my sister figure out her life. Hey, she's the older sister, she's used to it!
It was so liberating to say no.
